What we collect
Two things: what you type into one of our forms, and how you use the site through Google Analytics, which asks first in some regions and can be turned off anywhere (see Analytics below).
From the forms:
- Build a distribution plan (brands): company, work email, what you are launching, target audience, objective, budget, geography, timing, and any constraints you add.
- Join the creator network (creators): name, email, main channels, audience, niche, what you want to build, and anything else you add.
- Request API access: company, work email, agent runtime, interface, and what you want to distribute.
We also record which page the form was sent from, so we know where the request started.
We use no advertising trackers and no third-party pixels. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) to run and protect the site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC, to learn which pages people read and where they arrive from, so we can make the site better. It runs through Google Consent Mode. Where we ask first, analytics storage stays off until you say yes; elsewhere it is on by default and you can turn it off.
When it runs, Google Analytics records:
- the pages you view and when, and the page that sent you here (the referrer);
- your device type, browser, operating system, screen size and language;
- an approximate location (country, region and city) that Google derives from your IP address. For visitors from the EU, the UK and Switzerland, Google uses the IP address only to derive that location and then discards it, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses from those visitors.
How it depends on your choice:
- Visitors from the EU, the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Canada are asked first. Until you accept, Google's analytics script does not load at all, so nothing is sent to Google and nothing is stored.
- Visitors from elsewhere are not shown the question on arrival. Analytics runs by default: the script loads and sets the two first-party cookies described below. You can opt out at any time with Cookie settings.
- When analytics runs (after you accept, or by default outside the regions above), Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies on this site: _ga, which tells one browser from another, and _ga_L7VL51KT09, which keeps the state of your visit. By Google's defaults each lasts up to 2 years.
- If you decline, wherever you are, analytics stops on this page, the script does not load on later pages, and any analytics cookies already set are removed.
We have turned off Google Signals, ad personalization and every advertising feature, and ad storage stays denied whatever you choose. We do not use the data to build profiles or to advertise to you, and we do not combine it with what you send through our forms.
Google keeps the event-level data for at most 14 months, the longest a standard Google Analytics account allows; reports built from it contain counts, not individual visits. Google processes it under its own privacy policy and explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.
Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (under the name dwtf-analytics-consent), only after you make it. The site sets no cookie of its own. To change it at any time, use here or at the foot of any page. You can also block Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Why we use it
Form details: to reply to you, and to plan or discuss the work you asked about. Analytics: to see which pages help people and fix the ones that do not. We do not sell your information and we do not add you to a marketing list.
Where it goes
A form submission is sent straight to our team's internal workspace, where the people who will answer you read it. It is not stored in a database on this website.
Analytics data goes to Google as described in Analytics above: where we ask first, only after you accept, and nothing is sent after you decline.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it to talk with you about the work, then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Analytics data follows the retention described in Analytics above.
Your choices
Write to crew@distribution.wtf to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer within 30 days.
